Hi there! 

My name’s Dominica Hoover (Nicky for short) and I’m a graphic designer passionate about visual problem solving. I graduated with a BFA from Kent State University in Visual Communication Design with a minor in User Experience Design. 

I approach every project with the same set of questions in mind: who are we communicating with, what is the most effective method of communication, and how can we stand out from the rest. Good design is a universal language and I have a passion for figuring out how to apply that language to a diverse range of mediums.

Outside of design, I am a devoted dog and cat mom, an avid binge-watcher, and am always working on some sort of DIY. I am excited to continue to grow as a designer and see where my career takes me.
