The world of skincare can often be a confusing one - with expensive, confusing products and vague labels that rely on a pre-existing level of knowledge. Created as a passion project, base is a skincare concept that seeks to disrupt that. Each product’s packaging is built around its key ingredient, using color and illustration to intuitively communicate what the bottle contains. In addition, primary ingredients on the front label are paired with descriptors of their benefits.

To fully develop the brand’s personality, an engaging social media presence geared to the average skincare novice was created. Posts focus on ingredient spotlights and explaining the products without any confusing nonsense. Base is skincare made simple.
